This site is up-to-date.  If you find an animal featured on our site, they remain available for adoption. Most of our dogs, while awaiting adoption, reside at the shelter though some may be in local foster care and available for viewing upon pre-arranged appointments. If the animal is in foster care, this will be stated in the pet profile.
All dogs receive vaccinations upon arrival and as required threw there stay at the kennel. We have become able to have the high priority and less adoptable dogs spayed and neutered at the shelter prior to adoption and require of potential adopters to have the remaining population altered  within 30 days of adoption or when a puppy reaches 6months of age, in accordance with the adoption contract. We are  yet to have the resources to spay and neuter all the adoptable animals prior to adoption but look forward to  gaining further support from local veterinary clinics conscientious of our cause, in the near future.

Our dogs come to us by way of  the Law Enforcement System, we except  dogs from Breed Rescue Organizations threw out Canada and the United States and offer an Owner Surrender Service to dog owners as an option to euthanasia.
We do not see resident dogs as, compromised because of there stay in  shelter, but rather,  we recognize many have come from a compromised situation but hold the promise of a bright future within each of them. You must consider each as individuals and  apart from the preconception of breed, size, age, and so on and so forth. These factors may be contributors but not indicative of temperament, activity level,  the unique and very individual drive balance that each one alone  instinctually possess. These are the real factors a potential adopter needs to  consider before they inflict, such a life changing experience on another, very influential life. As by choosing to take that animal into your life and heart you are changing them forever. We need YOU to be sure in every way you need, that your influence on them is a positive life changing experience. An adopter does take risks in adoption and there will be many uncertainties. Adoption is definitely not for everyone.  There is no possible way for , the Shelter Representatives, your Veterinarian or Anybody,  other than yourself's, to make the decision as to wether  pet acquisition in any form is for you, at all. Only then if  you are confident it is so, you need to further determine, if  the  initiate uncertainties of adoption threw a shelter are something you are equip to deal with, for better or for worse. Each and every one of us are as unique as each of the individuals offered for adoption threw "Central Animal Services". Our adoption contract is designed to make you as the adopter accountable for your decision. We ask that you study it prior to contacting us. Though we will do our best to assist you with the limited means and knowledge we may have of the animals in our care,  or of which the staff and volunteers may . "Speculation" would be our perception of a shelter dogs suitability  and further implications of your decision to choose a K-9 partner for your ever so specific lifestyle.  Though , just like the remaining uncertainties in life.....
An adopter also may risk...one, enhancing their lives beyond imagination ..... two, gaining a devoted friend like none of us have ever really known.
If you are accountable, devoted, have become educated and most of all prepared for this journey please message us to set up an appointment to meet the treasures with in the kennel walls.
